StorieTree Professional Education is a continuing education (CE) provider for psychologists, therapists, and allied mental health professionals seeking thoughtful, values-aligned learning. Our programs integrate ethics, cultural humility, inclusion, and accessibility as core foundations—not add-ons—supporting clinicians in providing affirming, responsible care. We believe continuing education should strengthen not only individual practice, but the communities clinicians serve.
StorieTree Professional Education has submitted an application for APA Sponsor Approval and is currently in the review process.
While approval is pending, all StorieTree programs are developed in alignment with the APA Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct and the APA Standards for Continuing Education Sponsors. Final determination of approval is made by the American Psychological Association.
StorieTree Professional Education is pursuing APA Sponsor Approval to expand access to widely recognized continuing education. APA-approved CEs allow psychologists to earn credit and are accepted by many licensing boards for counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and other related professionals—often under "related" or "general" CE hours—supporting interdisciplinary learning across the mental health field.
In keeping with this commitment to professional standards, StorieTree Professional Education approaches ethics as a shared responsibility across disciplines. We recognize that clinicians from different professional backgrounds may be guided by distinct ethical codes, and we intentionally engage with the standards of psychology, counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, and related fields. Our programs are designed to be relevant, respectful, and applicable for psychologists, counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and other allied professionals, reflecting our belief that ethical, affirming care is strengthened through interdisciplinary learning, cultural humility, and collective accountability.
We welcome learners across professional identities who are committed to ethical practice, inclusion, and the dignity of the people and communities they serve.
